I need to know the laws in kansas regaurding child support/visitation.....My husband and I live in Texas and he has a 5 year old daughter in Kansas. They had her when they were young and he was given visitaion at his parents house every other weekend through a mediator. he has lost the papers but is paying child support.He has alot of money in rearrages but is paying back.His parents still live in kansas and get the child on the alotted weekends. In the last year we have went to kansas 3 times for more than a couple days on the weekend shes suppossed to be at the grandparents and the mother would say the child is sick etc.. and that we cant see her that weekend. In texas if you pay child support you get to see your child.I want to know if that stands in kansas. Also in Texas you are given standard every other weekend, holiday(every other year) and summer with your child without having to have a custody battle. I want to know if they get the same or something similar in kansas.they were never married and there was no paternity test done
