Squatter!!!! Need Help!

I have co worker that moved into my vacant home in MIchigan, that is for sale. There is no renatl agreement. He gave us $1000.00 cash in May but refuses to pay some sort of rent or move out. He now has a PPO out on my husband and refuses to let us show the home to potential buyers . My question is: Do I have to go through the eviction process, even though there is no real agreement and he just won't leave? What are my options? I am desperate and can't afford the 2 mortgage payments. Thank you for any advice.
