« on: June 19, 2009, 11:40:42 AM »

What is a person's legal right's when they defend themselves??? I have a friend that is going through a crimal change right now. He was told because he owns property he cannot get a public defender??? is this correct???
He was also told when he was found guilty that the only was he can appeal is two was...1. Only someone with the case can appeal him...not any friends/family  2. If he was found guilty he has nothing he can do about a appeal...one will not be heard.....Is this correct??

NEED ADVICE FAST!!!!
I'm new to this...Sad
