USMC drinking water

I got a letter from the Marine corps yesterday, telling me that I may have been subjected to contaminated drinking water, while I was on Camp Lejuene NC in 1985-1986. HHHMMM
  That would explain a few things. for the last 8yrs ,I've been plauged with am Illness that the local doctors and specialist cant explain. Question is, where to go from here?
