Custody Battle for Step-Daughter
« on: July 18, 2008, 03:44:58 PM »

My husband and I are fighting for full custody of my step-daughter, who now is 3 years old.  Her mother has engaged social services, as well as the local sherrif's office, for the last 3 years.  She has accused my husband of molesting both of his daughters.  He had to take a polygraph test, which he passed with flying colors.  His ex wife also was given a poly, which she failed badly.  After an entire investigation, the court system has done nothing.  The ex wife also claims that she was sexually abused as a child, and was removed from her home.  Social services believes that she is re-living her past through her daughter.  She has brainwashed her daughter to believe that her father has touched her innappropriately.  We are fighting her now for full custody, and are asking the court to order her to get help.  She now is asking the court for a CFI (child/family investigator).  This could put our pending court date out another 6 months.  I am scared for this little girl, and am not sure what her mother will do.  Please help.
