Is this legal?
« on: March 21, 2008, 12:05:56 PM »

Hi I was arrested last month at my job.  2 police officers (not in uniform) took me outside to an unmarked car and searched me.  I was almost 8 months pregnant.  They searched trough my coat while it was on me.  One of the officers touched my breast while going through my coat.  There was no female officer.  They hand cuffed me (in the front)  Put me in the front seat and drove me around for an hour interrogating me.  I was never shown an arrest warrant but was told I was arrested for trafficking drugs.  Are they allowed to drive me around and question me?  Also other members of my family were arrested.  My brother and his girlfriend were kept at jail because there bail was 2,000 each.  My mother and I were let go on $40 bail.  One of my charges is a class A.  Why would they let my mother and I go on such a small bail and keep my brother and his girlfriend?  There charges were class B.

well, as far as the law is concerned, i think, you cannot easily arrest an individual if you cant present a warrant of arrest.. maybe you should consult a lawyer or any law-related individual in your place to take a look of your situation..

I was recently drinking at a party and called for a ride home...the people that came and got me were also drinking, we got pulled over, the guy driving went to jail on a dui...me and the other under age kid got a minor consumption, the other girl was of age to drink and did not recieve a ticket....they found an open beer in the car, and questioned us all on who it was...the girl said it was hers but they said they didnt believe her and said it was mine. it was not mt car nor was it my beer... but i was the only one in the car to get an open container.....can they get away with that? can they even do that?
