Supreme Court Rules Judges Get Discretion in Crack Cocaine Cases

The Supreme Court said Monday, 10 December 2007, that judges may impose shorter prison terms for crack cocaine crimes, a decision that could end the disparity between crack and powder cocaine sentences.
