advice/help needed pls

Hi, i will start at the beginning and give u a quick run down on things so you got some of what happened and why we desparately need someone to help pls, back in 1997 my husband was involved in a robbery, with 3 others, my husband did the actual robbery with one other, when my husband was walking away, another one got out of the car and shot and killed the victim, the one who did the killing is a known bully, and has had people killed/stabbed, he threatened my husband not to testify, long story short my husband got the death penalty, the killer got life the other two got 40 years, one of which was the driver, the suppier of the bullets, with out these two the actual event could not of happened, yet he only got 40 yrs,
in 2005, my husband had a retrial, he got life with the chance of parole in 2060,  to this day we still havent got the transcripts, his lawyer has left, and will not responed to any of his letters, he has asked for his transcripts on a number of times, he has no lawyer, his rule 11 to appeal was denied, we feel a lot was done wrong in both trials, but no one will help,
we know he has done wrong, and he does have to serve a sentence but we would like one that is appropriate to his part in the crime, i hope some one can give us some advice, also if anyone knows of a probono lawyer that could help,
please dont tell us that were flogging a dead horse, we have been told that many times before, when he was on the row, but we now know even a dead horse moves if flogged enough, its just finding the right person to help,
