Possession Laws of Minors
« on: July 12, 2007, 12:50:34 AM »

Say a person who recently turned 18 wants to move out of his house. What are the laws regarding possessions for him? For example, clothes were given to him over the years. Does he have rights to these clothes? In other words, when a person turns 18, does he own possessions given to him as a minor? What I'm getting at is that a person wants to move out of his house against the will of his parents, but he is 18. Can they take everything away that was given to him before he turned 18?
